With coffee being the brew of choice for many, there are surprisingly few books dedicated to Coffee Recipes. The Coffee Cookbook has over 79 recipes featuring coffee in desserts and cakes.
The book is well set out in logical sections.
- Introduction
- Cream Desserts and Hot Puddings
- Souffles and Meringues
- Fruit Desserts
- Frozen Desserts
- Cakes and Tortes
- Pies, Tarts and Pastries
- Sweets, Biscuits and Breads
- Index
The Coffee Cookbook has full colour photos, on every page. These photos show steps in the process along with the finished product. Some double page spreads and full page colour photos, look so scrumptious you want to start cooking (and eating) right away.
Author, Catherine Atkinson, has included the classic recipes we associate with coffee. Any coffee afficianodo will agree, you can never have enough Tiramisu recipes. This one uses the traditional sponge finger biscuits, double cream and mascarpone, and of course, your choice of coffee liqueur.
Can’t wait? Another Tiramisu Recipe from Tea Party Diva.
Other Coffee Cookbook recipes include
- Coffee Creme Caramel
- Coffee Jellies
- Chocolate and Coffee Roulade
- Coffee Cream Profiteroles
- Tia Maria Truffle Tarts
- Chunky White Chocolate and Coffee Brownies
- Irish Coffee Cheescake
- Coffee Chocolate Truffles
- Gingered Coffee Meringues
I was also tempted by the Chilled Chocolate and Espresso Mousse, served in chocolate cups… and there’s more too. Yum!
