Preparation - The Star Hunt

  • Have two cardboard stars for every guest at the tea party.
  • Purchase them ready made, or make your own from coloured or corrugated card.
  • Gold is a great color for a fairy or princess tea party.
  • Tape a small prize on the back of each star. Whatever it is it needs to be wrapped e.g. candy, stickers, clue etc.
  • Hide the stars outside (or inside).

Playing - The Star Hunt Game

  • Children keep any stars (and attached prizes) they find.
  • Make sure you have a few extra for children who don’t find any.
  • You may need to prompt younger children to help them “find” the stars.
  • Observe all usual common sense and safety precautions.

Vary the game to suit your situation, theme and the children.
