Star Hunt - Children’s Tea Party Game
This easy tea party game can be adapted to any theme. It is similar to an Easter egg hunt, except it can be played year round.
|
- Have two cardboard stars for every guest at the tea party.
- Purchase them ready made, or make your own from coloured or corrugated card.
- Gold is a great color for a fairy or princess tea party.
- Tape a small prize on the back of each star. Whatever it is it needs to be wrapped e.g. candy, stickers, clue etc.
- Hide the stars outside (or inside).
Playing - The Star Hunt Game
- Children keep any stars (and attached prizes) they find.
- Make sure you have a few extra for children who don’t find any.
- You may need to prompt younger children to help them “find” the stars.
- Observe all usual common sense and safety precautions.
Vary the game to suit your situation, theme and the children.
