We are often asked - How Can I Use Lemon Curd? As lemon curd is quite tangy, it goes especially well with sweet desserts. It’s an old favourite at Afternoon Teas and Tea Parties. Here are some ideas for using lemon curd.

Uses for Lemon Curd

• Combine with other ingredients as a cake filling, as in this recipe for Strawberry Pinwheel Cake
• As a filling with cream between layers of sponge cake
• Swirl through a cheesecake for flavour and effect
• As a cake or dessert topping or glaze
• Fill individual pre baked tartlets and dust with icing sugar
• Fill individual pre baked tartlets and top with meringue for mini lemon meringues
• Serve scones with lemon curd and cream
• Use as a spread for muffins or crumpets
• Fill individual prebaked meringue nests and top with fruit
• Add to cream cheese and strawberries to make a dip
