Cheeky Bat Tea Party Poem - Variations
Each child can substitute their own imaginative choices for ” Who loves fruit?” e.g.
- Who loves pumpkin?
- Who loves apples?
- Who loves chocolate?
- Who loves icecream?
For older children, these tea party variations do not have to be limited to one word e.g.
- Who loves green cake?
- Who loves purple and yellow striped cupcakes?
- Who loves blue icing with chocolate sprinkles?
Cheeky Bat Memory Game
Extend these into a listening and memory game e.g.
- Each child adds another tea party food e.g. “That cheeky bat loves green cake.”
- The next child repeats this and adds their own e.g. “That cheeky bat loves green cake and purple and yellow striped cupcakes.”
- The next child repeats this and adds their own tea party food. Continue around the circle.
- A child is out if they cannot say all the items.
- The winner is the last one in.
